By fundraising for The Chick Mission, you're helping us provide women battling cancer with the educational and financial support they need to preserve their fertility ahead of lifesaving treatment. More importantly, you're creating hope for the future and a full life after cancer.
With every new birth comes an opportunity. An opportunity to watch a child blossom and grow, gain values, and trade in a gifted swaddle for a donation to a cause that has a direct impact on another family and future chick’s life.
When a baby is born, family and friends celebrate with gifts, love, and support. A Chick 2 Chick pipeline named after a new baby allows family and friends to begin the child’s foundation of giving by donating in their name.
Throughout the chick’s life, they can continue to grow their impact by sharing their link around milestones, from birthdays to big events like Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s, Quinceañeras, Weddings, and Baby Showers!
Over time, their efforts and community of supporters help fund the hatching of many chicks and positively impact the lives of women who need support to fulfill their dreams of building a family after cancer.

The Chick Mission idea “hatched” when Founder Amanda Rice’s fertility preservation coverage was denied by her insurance company. Faced with covering the costs on her own, Amanda founded The Chick Mission to help other newly diagnosed patients overcome the prohibitive cost barriers to fertility preservation ahead of treatment. The cost of care should not stand between a patient and her choice to have a future family after she battles and beats cancer.
We're dedicated to making sure every woman has access to fertility preservation as part of their cancer care through financial assistance, advocacy, and action for all cancer patients.
